Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2010

Completed the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2010 (SCMM 2010) Half Marathon (21 kms) Run in 2 hours 17 minutes. Wanted to clock under 2 hours... could not do it. I guess practice for next year will have to start early. Need to improve on the timing.

Last day at Deloitte

Today is my last day at Deloitte Consulting. I have decided to move on to newer and more challenging opportunities. To begin with, I will be helping out my family business. We are manufacturers and exporters of stainless steel sheets, kitchenware and kitchen sinks. We also have a presence in Construction of Industrial Galas around Mumbai.
So if you have any items to import (from India) or if you have any items that can be exported (from India) or if you want to expand your manufacturing base, do get in touch with me.

Strategy & Operations Consulting

A small, but a Big Change. I will now be a part of the Strategy & Operations Team at Deloitte. The role will be to assist clients (in Banking and Financial Services Industry) with their business strategies.

Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2009

Ran in Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2009 (SCMM 2009). This was my very first run and I participated in the Half-Marathon clocking 2 hours 15 minutes which some people say is impressive. Hoping to run under 2 next year. Will have to practice much harder though.

Working with Deloitte Consulting

The job hunt has resulted in a successful opportunity at Deloitte Consulting India. I have joined as a Senior Consultant in the Technology Integration Consulting Team. The role will be to assist clients with their Technology Strategy.

Have a job?? Will work....

Experience with developing strategies for a new product launch, increasing sales for existing products, and devising a competitive business strategy.

Direct experience with business process analysis, strategic industry analysis, gap analysis, value chain analysis, analyzing the financial footprints, and business process re-engineering.

Past experience in analyzing M & A Transactions, valuing companies, creating and formulating Strategy for pre-and-post merger.

I am currently looking for a consulting position in management or strategy consulting. Alternatively, I am also considering a roles in the Industry in strategic planning, business diversification/expansion, new business development, and financial modeling.

Location preference: Mumbai (Bombay), India.
